Job Description

• The Position is available for only full-time.
• A candidate for this post should normally possess an HND degree in computer science or computer Engineering from a recognized Polytechnic with at least three years of laboratory and research experience

The following skills are required or this position:

• Installation and Maintenance of Computer Systems: Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network systems in the computer lab to ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
• Technical Support During Practical Sessions: Assist lecturers and students during practical classes by providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of lab activities.
• Lab Equipment Management and Inventory: Manage the inventory of computers, accessories, and software licenses, ensuring all systems are up to date and securely stored or maintained.
• User Access and Security Management: control user access, manage login credentials, ensure cybersecurity measures are in place, and enforce lab rules to protect data and systems.
• Training and Guidance for Students: Provide guidance to students on the use of various software tools, programming environments, and computer systems, supporting their learning and skill development.
