    Kitchen Supervisor

    Salary: ₦130,000 – ₦150,000
    Reporting Line: General Manager

    Job Summary

    We are seeking a responsible, organized, and proactive Kitchen Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, stores, and general coordination of food service activities. The ideal candidate will ensure cleanliness, proper stock management, timely food preparation, and smooth execution of kitchen and event operations while maintaining high standards of professionalism and efficiency.

    Key ResponsibilitiesOffice & Facility Management

    • Ensure the office environment is clean, organized, and properly maintained.
    • Supervise staff responsible for cleanliness and ensure tasks are carried out effectively.
    • Ensure all refrigerators are properly cleaned, arranged, and managed at all times.

    Kitchen & Store Management

    • Ensure both indoor and outdoor stores are neat, properly arranged, and well maintained.
    • Maintain accurate stock records and monitor inventory levels.
    • Prepare kitchen supply lists and supervise market purchases.
    • Verify and confirm all purchased items to ensure quality and accuracy.

    Event & Food Service Coordination

    • Ensure all food points are fully set up and ready on time for events.
    • Supervise proper food presentation and garnishing of menus.
    • Ensure smooth coordination of kitchen operations during events and catering services.

    General Administration

    • Ensure all bowl orders, planners’ meals, and clients’ meals are properly prepared and delivered promptly.
    • Provide timely operational updates and reports when required.
    • Handle market runs and other assigned errands as needed.
    • Carry out directives from management effectively and professionally.
    • Perform other related duties assigned by the General Manager.

    Requirements

    • Previous experience in kitchen supervision, catering operations, or hospitality management is an added advantage.
    • Good organizational and leadership skills.
    • Ability to manage stock and maintain proper records.
    • Strong attention to cleanliness and food presentation.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Good communication and coordination skills.
    • Must be responsible, proactive, and detail-oriented.

    Working Conditions

    • Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends when necessary.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced catering and hospitality environment.
