Kitchen Steward at 25th & Staffing

JOB SUMMARY:

A leading restaurant in the hospitality sector is seeking to hire the service of a Kitchen Steward, who will be responsible for maintaining high levels of cleanliness and organization within the restaurant’s kitchen.

LOCATION: Victoria Island, Lagos.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure the kitchen is clean, well maintained and organized at all times.
• Ensure floors are dry and clean at all times.
• Adhere to all sanitation guidelines.
• Assist the Cooks and Servers as and when necessary.
• Wash, Wipe, Sort, stack and store all cleaned items in an organized and safe manner.
• Clean, sanitize and close workstations.
• Assist in light food preparation as directed by manager or chef on duty.
• Assist in serving food and beverages to the residents in the dining room
• Other duties as assigned

GENERAL SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of OND in hospitality management or any relevant discipline
• Minimum of 2 years working experience as a Kitchen Steward in a multinational environment
• Attention to detail
• Great organizational skills
• Ability to work while standing up and walking for extended periods of time
• Punctual
• Commitment to safety and security procedures
• Enthusiasm for upholding hygiene standards
• Proximity to the job location
