    Kitchen Manager

    Our Client is looking for a professional Kitchen Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations in an Asian-themed food establishment in Wuse 2 Abuja.

    The Kitchen Manager's responsibilities include ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the kitchen, the quality and consistency of dishes, and compliance with food safety standards.

    Ultimately, you’ll prepare and deliver a complete menu that delights our client.

    Other responsibilities include;

    • Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
    • Ensure the efficient and timely preparation of dishes to meet customer demand.
    • Apt knowledge of cooking different cuisines.
    • Maintain high food quality standards, ensuring all dishes meet established recipes and presentation guidelines.
    • Contribute to creating new recipes and innovative dishes.
    • Train and mentor kitchen staff on Asian cooking techniques, recipes, and food safety.
    • Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to established standards and practices.
    • Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate them into the menu.
    • Conduct quality inspections of ingredients and equipment.
    • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area

    Salary: NGN100,000 (Monthly)

    Skills & Requirements

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in managing Asian restaurants and take-out businesses.
    • Culinary degree or relevant culinary qualifications preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of Asian cuisine and cooking techniques.
    • Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing kitchen operations.
    • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
    • Ability to remain calm and undertake various tasks.
    • Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes.
