Job Summary:

• We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to support our kitchen team.
• The successful candidate will assist with food preparation, cleaning, and other kitchen tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist chefs and cooks with food preparation and cooking
• Chop vegetables, marinate meats, and prepare ingredients
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and workspaces
• Maintain organization and storage of kitchen supplies and ingredients
• Assist with dishwashing and laundry duties
• Support kitchen staff during peak periods
• Follow recipes and instructions to prepare menu items
• Ensure food safety and quality standards
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to achieve kitchen goals

Requirements:

• 1+ year of experience in a kitchen or food service environment
• Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required
