    Kitchen Assistant

    Job description

    • Assisting the chef in preparing, cooking and serving high quality dishes
    • Cleaning and sanitzing all food preparation areas according to established standards of hygiene
    • Monitoring portion and waste control
    • Prepping and cooking staff food
    • Regularly keeping records of food portions and kitchen items

    Requirements:

    • Previous experience as a kitchen assistant or similar role in a kitchen
    • Experience using different kitchen equipments
    • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
    • Should be physically fit with no underlying health issues
    • Applicants who live within Surulere and its environ are preferred
