    Key Account Manager

    As a Key Account Manager, you are responsible for handling the most important client/ vendor accounts in the company. These accounts make up the highest percentage of our income and as such you must build and maintain strong relationships with the client/ vendors.

    Acting as the lead point of contact for all client and vendor matters, you are expected to anticipate the client’s needs, work within the company to ensure deadlines for the client are met, and help the client succeed. You are expected to bring in new business from existing clients, vendor or contacts and will develop new relationships with potential clients.

    You should be willing and eager to take on difficult assignments and driven by results. Also, prove a track record of demonstrated problem-solving capabilities with workout and turn-around skills enabling new business projects to be implemented.

    Job Description

    • Develop a Business Plan
    • Understand defined markets and the processes and applications involved
    • Set and track sales objectives, aligned with company objectives, prepare progress reports
    • Forecast and review defined key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
    • Grow Business
    • Action business plan, review and adjust in order to realize objectives
    • Network across defined markets, educating and presenting in order to understand processes to find solutions
    • Develop new business with existing clients/ vendors and identify areas of improvements to exceed sales quotas
    • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to management and other stakeholders
    • Exceed Vendors / Client Expectations
    • Operate as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to the defined key accounts
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
    • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profit
    • Develop a “trusted advisor” relationship with key accounts, generate new business using existing and potential customer networks
    • Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives
    • Play as a Team
    • Share and develop ideas in order to grow our client’s business
    • Support new initiatives through imparting learned experiences and technical insights

    Qualifications

    • A Degree or Diploma in any related subject 
    • Ability to drive a car (When required)
    • Financial literacy, numerical and mathematical abilities in order to calculate gross margins, price, and discounts
    • Ability to plan and execute a budget and business plan
    • Ability to relate to others and build relationships, networking skills
    • High emotional intelligence
    • Proficiency in English, Local Dialect, Pidgeon English
    • Ability to manage multiple projects whilst paying attention to details
    • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
    • Excellent Observation Abilities
    • Capable of working independently and with minimum supervision
    • Have a logical approach to identifying and evaluating issues and problem-solving
    • Well-developed organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments
    • Displays awareness of the need for confidentially in sensitive matters
    • Demonstrated job commitment and personal flexibility to meet changing expectations
    • Commitment to self-development and expansion of knowledge
    • Ability to Conduct and Evaluate Research
    • Demonstrate Working Knowledge and Expertise
    • Good Decision Making
    • Excellent communications both verbal and written
    •  Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Good Analytical skills
    • Has strong knowledge in the use of Sales ERP, CRM (Hubspot and customized ERP)
    • Excellent commands over excel and word
