Junior Design Architect at Amy Consulting

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of architectural designs.
• Produce detailed drawings and make any necessary corrections.
• Compile project specifications.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Conduct site visits to check the status of projects and make sure contractors are following design plans.
• Use software to create detailed 2D or 3D designs.
• Make necessary changes to designs based on feedback from senior architects and clients.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and tools.

Requirements and skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
• Proven experience as a Junior Architect or Architectural Intern.
• Strong portfolio to prove artistic skills.
• Excellent knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, and SketchUp.
• A keen eye for detail and good problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and team working skills.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
