    Junior Associate - Lawyer

    Role Description

    • This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos for a Junior Associate (female only for gender balance).
    • The Junior Associate shallassist Senior Associates inhandlingcomplex legal matters, prepare legal documentation, represent clients in court proceedings, and provide strategic legal advice.
    • Additional responsibilities include conducting thorough legal researchand, collaborating with clients to develop case strategies.
    • The Junior Associate will contribute to the firm's ongoing success in achieving favorable outcomes for its clients.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) and call to the Nigerian Bar (BL) are mandatory.
    • A master’s degree in Law or related fields is an added advantage.
    • Minimum of 4 years of post-call legal experience, with a focus on dispute resolution or similar practice areas.
    • Female Only (for gender balance)
    • Must be very presentable and articulate.
    • Exceptional legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and client management abilities.
    • A deep understanding of Nigerian law and demonstrated ability to apply legal concepts effectively.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with team members and provide mentorship to junior associates.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-stakes cases under tight deadlines, with attention to detail and strategic planning.
    • Must be computer literate.

    The preferred candidate should also have legal experience in the followings;

    • Corporate Transaction
    • Commercial Transaction
    • Litigation
    • Real Estate
    • Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).

    Remuneration

    • Salary: N600,000 - N700,000 Monthly.
    • Pension + HMO + 13th Months etc.
