Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly skilled IT Specialist to oversee our IT infrastructure, manage technical support, and ensure the smooth operation of our systems.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT processes and be able to troubleshoot both hardware and software issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to staff and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and networks.
• Ensure the security of IT systems, including implementing and maintaining firewalls and antivirus software.
• Manage software updates, patches, and system backups.
• Monitor and maintain network systems, including servers, routers, and switches.
• Manage data recovery and disaster recovery planning.
• Collaborate with other departments to assess and fulfill IT needs.
• Assist with IT budgeting, including procurement of hardware and software.
• Document IT procedures and maintain IT inventory.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an IT Specialist or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of computer systems, networks, and security protocols.
• Familiarity with a range of operating systems and IT tools.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
