The IT Officer is responsible for maintaining the organization’s IT systems, ensuring reliable network access, data security, and providing technical support to staff.
The role supports day-to-day IT operations, troubleshooting, system maintenance, and implementation of technology solutions that enhance productivity and business efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals
Provide technical support and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
Manage user accounts, email systems, and access rights
Maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity
Monitor system performance, minimize downtime, and perform backups and updates
Ensure IT security, antivirus protection, firewalls, and data confidentiality
Maintain IT asset inventory, licenses, and system documentation
Support IT upgrades, projects, and vendor coordination
Assist with procurement of IT equipment and software.
Qualifications
HND / BSc in Computer Science, IT, or related field
1–3 years relevant IT support experience)
Relevant IT certifications are an added advantage.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
