IT Infrastructure Manager at Waya Multilink

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Installs and configures computer systems;
• Responsible for all IT, Network and communication infrastructure;
• Implement, manage and maintain robust security within the Infrastructure, server, web, mobile , app, and IT and communication tools;
• Provides technical support to system users and Troubleshoots system and network problems;
• Conducts diagnostics and solves faults arising from online publication systems;
• Ensures that online customers are properly engaged and subscribed;
• Provides procedural documentation, relevant reports and ensures implementation of all IT policies;
• Maintains end user’s confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential;
• Manages requests for IT application access, ensuring full compliance to agreed security policies and procedures;
• Responsible for IT, and firewall strategy and security;
• Responsible for servers, network and email management;
• Serves as first level support on all incidents with online publication systems;
• Works continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate);
• Evaluates system potentials by testing compatibility of new programs with existing programs;
• Performs backup and restore procedures;
• Continually develops disaster recovery and business continuity plan;
• Ensures system environments are fully maintained with appropriately supported updates and patches;
• Assists with testing and deployment of application changes/releases;

REQUIREMENTS:

• In depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server
• In depth knowledge of Active Directory (Design, Security and Administration)
• In depth knowledge of Messaging (MS Exchange, Archiving, Unified Communications)
• In depth knowledge of Networking technologies and concepts. Good understanding of VMWare 5 / Hyper V
• Good understanding of IT security and Data protection
• Good understanding of Cloud and mobile technology
• Good knowledge of Citrix and Citrix Metaframe
• Good understanding of Powershell scripting (Desirable)
• Exposure to MS SharePoint Other:
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate across a broad spectrum of users
• Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills
• Ability to manage through organizational change.
