We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory/Procurement Officer to manage inventory levels, coordinate procurement activities, and ensure the timely availability of required supplies and materials in the Pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records.
Identify replenishment needs and prepare purchase requests/orders.
Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and reliability.
Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of supplies.
Receive, inspect, and document incoming goods.
Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
Maintain proper documentation for purchases, deliveries, and stock movements.
Work closely with relevant departments to forecast inventory and procurement needs.
Requirements
HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in inventory management or procurement, in a pharmacy is an added advantage.
Good knowledge of inventory control and procurement processes.
Strong organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other inventory/procurement tools.
Attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure.
