Inventory Officer at The Space

Job Description
The Space is looking to hire an inventory officer for our client. An inventory officer receives and dispatches goods, manages stock levels, and records stock movement. The core responsibility of this role is inventory management. An ideal candidate is a person of integrity who is able to keep track of all items in the inventory. 

Responsibilities

• Prepare purchase orders
• Receive, store, and issue goods
• Manage stock levels and distribute supplies from stock
• Maintain stock records using manual or computerised systems
• Prepare inventory reports
• Record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory
• Find sources of supply and obtain quotes from suppliers
• Price incoming goods, estimate the cost of requisitions, or value of stock and store articles
• Coordinate purchasing, warehousing and inventory functions.

Requirements 

• Proven experience with inventory management
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Keen attention to details and ability to effectively manage time
• Good planning and numeracy skills
• Competencies in data entry, data analysis, and data management
• Basic knowledge of computer software and office systems
• Reside within Lagos Island, preferably Lekki axis

Location - Lekki, Lagos

Salary - N40,000 - N50,000
