Inventory Control Officer at Montego Upstream Services Limited

JOB PURPOSE

Internal Control/Risk Management is made up of procedures, policies and measures designed to ensure that an organization meets its objectives, and that risk that can prevent an organization from meeting its objectives are identified and mitigated. The Inventory Control Officer will be responsible for physical and documented controls on all stock and materials at various locations within the project site.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Be physically present to confirm all deliveries and issues from stores and warehouses.
• Be present, and sign-off stores issues to end users
• Routinely confirm stock balances in stores and warehouses
• Communicate daily activities to Internal Control/Risk Supervisor on Site
• Maintain records using computerized systems
• To be involved in stock take, reconciliation of physical stock with Storekeepers
• Monitor and report (daily) the movement of personnel and stock in/out the stores/warehouses
• Prepare weekly report of all activities in the store/warehouse

REQUISITE QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

• HND/Bsc in any discipline
• 1-3 years work experience

Reporting

Direct reporting to Internal Control Supervisor – Project Sites

Head Internal Control & Risk - HQ

Span of Responsibility

Access to all stores, warehouses & containers where stocks and materials are kept

Access to entire Site

Relationship to Management and Staff

Independent with limited operational responsibilities
