About the job

• Review and appraise the soundness, effectiveness, and proper application of accounting and financial controls, compliance procedures and controls and timeliness of documentation/generation.

Responsibilities

• Identify the risks within the business and develop preventive strategies.
• Reviewing of SOP from time to time and proffer improvements where applicable
• Provide training on policy and controls.
• Review Partner creation, Customer Creation (Agreements), Credit setting for customers and receivables collections for both partners and customers
• Review Capex project briefs and compliance with procedures.
• Credit control (Receivables, staff float outstanding).
• Expenses management and control.
• Checking of patterns of partners and customers to detect fraud and block such gaps

Qualifications

• Minimum of BSC or HND in accounting, finance or a related field.
• 5+ experience in process improvement, internal controls and/or risk management role.
• Proficiency in MS office packages
