    Internal Auditor

    Responsibilities:

    • Support the Audit Manager in the preparation of the Annual Audit plan for Nigerdock.
    • Perform audit assignments based on approved internal audit plan supported with Audit Terms of Reference (ToR).
    • Support continued follow-up on implementation of audit recommendations.
    • Support the Audit Manager in the continual system studies with a view to identifying areas of control weaknesses, potential loss and suggesting risk mitigation measures in addition to the audit recommendations.
    • Participates in periodic inventory count exercise.
    • Support the management through liaison with Compliance officer in driving regulatory, statutory, and operational compliance monitoring.
    • Support the Audit Manager in ensuring Complete Closure of Agreed Audit Committee Corrective Action Points on a timely basis.
    • Carry out any other Ad-hoc Functions as required from time to time by Management and Board.
    • Provides official cover for the Internal Audit Manager by carrying out audit functions in his absence.

    Requirements

    • University Graduate or equivalent in relevant fields of study.
    • Professional accountancy qualification or equivalent.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in an audit firm or similar role in an internal audit team.
    • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications or software.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Experience of participating in an audit exercise
    • Ability to produce audit report and communicate in a clear, concise manner.
