Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role for an Internal Auditor based in Lagos State, Nigeria.
• The Internal Auditor will be responsible for examining and evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.
• The role involves conducting audits, preparing audit reports, recommending improvements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• The successful candidate will liaise with various departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Financial auditing skills and a strong understanding of internal control systems
• Ability to evaluate risk management and governance processes
• Knowledge of compliance standards and regulatory requirements
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in using audit and accounting software
• Experience in the FMCG sector is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) designation preferred
