This is a full-time on-site role for an Internal Auditor based in Lagos State, Nigeria.
The Internal Auditor will be responsible for examining and evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.
The role involves conducting audits, preparing audit reports, recommending improvements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
The successful candidate will liaise with various departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Qualifications
Financial auditing skills and a strong understanding of internal control systems
Ability to evaluate risk management and governance processes
Knowledge of compliance standards and regulatory requirements
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in using audit and accounting software
Experience in the FMCG sector is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) designation preferred
