Intermediate Flutter Mobile Developer at Edves Digital Education

Job Summary

• We are seeking an Intermediate Flutter Mobile Developer to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria.
• This is a Hybrid role (2 days per week onsite) where you will help build and maintain high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly mobile applications.
• The ideal candidate should have solid hands-on experience with Flutter and Dart, a good understanding of mobile app deployment processes, and the ability to deliver for both iOS and Android platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart.
• Implement and consume RESTful APIs / HTTP requests efficiently.
• Manage app deployment to Google Play Store, and Apple App Store.
• Integrate and manage Firebase services (push notifications, analytics, crashlytics, authentication, etc.).
• Optimize applications for performance, responsiveness, and smooth user experience*.
• Collaborate with designers and backend developers to deliver seamless mobile solutions.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across multiple devices and operating systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of professional experience with Flutter and Dart.
• Proven experience deploying apps to Google Play and Apple App Store (knowledge of app signing, certificates, provisioning profiles, etc.).
• Solid understanding of state management techniques (e.g., Provider, Riverpod, Bloc, GetX).
• Strong grasp of HTTP requests, APIs, and JSON parsing.
• Hands-on experience with Firebase (Push Notifications, Authentication, Firestore, Crashlytics, Analytics).
• Familiarity with version control (Git).
• Understanding of responsive UI design and ability to adapt layouts across devices.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Knowledge of native iOS/Android development (Swift, Kotlin, Java).
• Experience with in-app purchases or payment gateway integrations.
• Familiarity with App Store Optimization (ASO).
