Job Overview:

  An ideal Interior Architect is responsible for designing and planning the interior spaces of buildings with a strong focus on structure, function, and aesthetics. They blend architectural principles with interior design elements to create environments that are both functional and visually appealing.  

Job Descriptions:

• Develop interior design concepts based on client needs and building codes
• Create layouts, floor plans, and 3D visualizations
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors during project execution
• Select materials, finishes, lighting, and furniture with a focus on sustainability and function
• Ensure compliance with safety, accessibility, and regulatory standards
• Prepare detailed drawings and blueprints based on sketches, specifications, or instructions from architects and engineers
• Use CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) to produce accurate technical drafts
• Review and revise drawings for clarity, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and engineers throughout the design process
• Maintain drawing documentation and update records as needed

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture or a related field
• Proficiency in software like AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong understanding of spatial planning, materials, and construction methods
• Good communication, project management, and problem-solving skills
•  Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings
