    Instrumentation Specialist

    Job Purpose

    • The Instrumentation Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the proper calibration, functionality, and reliability of all measuring instruments used within Felton Energy Services Limited.
    • This role is critical to maintaining operational accuracy, compliance with industry standards, and supporting quality assurance across projects.
    • The specialist will apply technical expertise and certifications to calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot instruments, ensuring measurement integrity and efficiency in energy service operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform calibration, verification, and adjustment of measuring instruments in compliance with international standards (ISO/IEC 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540, etc.).
    • Document calibration results, maintain traceability records, and ensure regulatory compliance.
    • Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of instrumentation systems.
    • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to uphold industry standards.
    • Provide technical support and training to junior staff on calibration procedures.
    • Ensure proper documentation of individual competencies and certifications.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related field).
    • Minimum of 5–7 years of professional experience in instrumentation and calibration services.
    • Valid certification/accreditation in calibration of measuring instruments (ISO/IEC 17025 or equivalent).
    • Strong knowledge of instrumentation systems, sensors, and measurement technologies.
    • Proficiency in calibration software and tools.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply technical standards in practical calibration scenarios.

    Competency Requirements

    • Documented evidence of individual competencies in calibration and instrumentation.
    • Duly certified in the calibration of measuring instruments.
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills with a commitment to precision and reliability.
