    Infrastructure Analyst

    About You

    Role Purpose

    The Infrastructure Analyst will support the development and implementation of energy infrastructure projects, including generation, transmission, distribution, and renewable energy initiatives. You will contribute to technical research, policy analysis, stakeholder coordination, and ESG integration. 

    Job Responsibilities

    Technical Research & Analysis

    1. Support feasibility studies, market assessments, and project evaluations for energy infrastructure.
    2. Conduct research on power technologies, siting strategies, and capacity development models.
    3. Assist in the review of tariff structures, regulatory frameworks, and sectoral policies.

    Project Development & Advisory

    1. Contribute to infrastructure planning aligned with national and donor energy transition goals.
    2. Support the development of investment frameworks, business models, and ESG-aligned project structures.
    3. Prepare project documentation, presentations, and knowledge products.
    4. Track project progress and contribute to regular reporting and documentation for internal and donor requirements.

    Stakeholder Engagement

    1. Coordinate communication with government agencies, regulators, developers, and donors.
    2. Support planning and logistics for multi-stakeholder consultations and investor promotion events.
    3. Support the design of infrastructure proposals or concept notes for development partners.

    Compliance and ESG Integration

    1. Ensure project alignment with ESG standards, national regulations, and donor expectations.
    2. Maintain accurate project documentation and contribute to risk mitigation strategies.

    Role Requirements

    1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, etc.), Economics, Business, or related fields.
    2. Minimum of two years of experience in energy, infrastructure, consulting, or related fields.
    3. Exposure to energy projects, regulatory reviews, or feasibility studies.
    4. Interest in renewable energy or energy transition strategies is highly valued.
    5. Knowledge of or interest in energy systems, including power generation, transmission, distribution, or renewable energy.
    6. Ability to conduct research and analyse data for studies and assessments, with a willingness to learn advanced techniques.
    7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
    8. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    9. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
    10. Ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
    11. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    12. Familiarity with energy modelling or data analysis tools (e.g., HOMER, PLEXOS, Python, or R) is a plus but not required.
