The IT Coordinator provides technical support and ensures the smooth operation of all technology systems within the Glocient Hospitality. This role supports hotel operations by maintaining networks, property management systems (PMS), point-of-sale (POS) systems, guest internet services, CCTV, and communication tools. The IT Coordinator ensures minimal downtime, provides prompt support to staff, and upholds data security and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first-level and second-level technical support to hotel staff across all departments.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and system issues.
Maintain and troubleshoot essential hospitality systems including PMS, POS, telephone systems, door lock systems, and guest Wi-Fi.
Conduct routine maintenance on servers, computers, printers, routers, switches, and other equipment.
Ensure proper functioning of CCTV systems, access control, inventory devices, and audio/visual equipment.
Maintain accurate records of IT hardware and software assets.
Assist in procurement, installation, upgrades, and disposal of equipment.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
1–3 years of experience in IT support, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Experience with PMS, POS, CRS, and hospitality-related systems is an advantage.
Understanding of cybersecurity principles and data protection standards.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
