Job Description

• Our client is looking for an experienced and passionate ICT Engineer/Entrepreneur who can manage a brand new ICT Hub, craft and evolve anaudacious vision to catalyze a digital innovation and revolution while creating financial and social capital for stakeholders.

General Duties

• The ICT Hub Manager will provide leadership in the centre, ensuring effective management of all the business arms of the Hub.

Other responsibilities include:

• Manage the Centre’s website, portal and all Social Media interfaces
• Source and on-board business patrons, IT partners and facilitators for programs
• Develop ICT and innovation capacity and stimulate interest on ICT among staff, trainees and interns.
• Carry out and coordinate ICT trainings for all categories of patrons
• Provide, secure and maintain all ICT hardware and software.
• Support and maintain all ICT infrastructure of the centre
• Develop strategic plans, guidelines and strategies for implementation of ICT
• Initiate, organize and participate in all ICT and innovation programs, Hackatons, Coding and Robotics seminars, events and conferences
• Create visibility for the centre through digital marketing.

Requirements

• This position requires a background in a field related to Computer Science and Information Technology.
• Required also is an experience that demonstrates a clear capacity to design new IT and innovation-related business strategies.
• Enthusiasm for innovation, incubation and working with hungry neophytes in ICT is critical.
• Excellent communication, relationship and interpersonal,business management skills are required
