ICT/Data Processing Teacher at Wellspring College

Location: Omole Phase 2 (Ojodu-Berger), Lagos

Description

• We are seeking to employ a dedicated and enthusiastic ICT Teacher who has a genuine passion for teaching and the ability to create a positive and engaging classroom experience.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of teaching experience, a deep understanding of the Nigerian/British curriculum, and strong proficiency in using Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons.
• Develop and implement lesson plans in line with the Nigerian and British curricula.
• Assess students’ progress and provide appropriate feedback.
• Foster a classroom environment conducive to learning and the personal development of students.
• Make effective use of technology, particularly Microsoft PowerPoint, to enhance lesson delivery.
• Prepare students for internal and external examinations.
• Participate in school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess an HND qualification / B.Sc. / B.Ed Degree in relevant disciplines.
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a reputable secondary school.
• Proven track record of preparing students for external examinations (WASSCE, BECE, UTME, IGCSE etc.).
• Proficiency in the use of the interactive white board and deployment of ICT tools in teaching and learning.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• A 21st-century educator with an innovative and creative teaching approach.

• An adaptable learner with a teachable spirit.
• Well-groomed and professionally presented.
• Able to build and maintain excellent relationships with learners.
• IGCSE Certification is an added advantage.
