We are looking for a HR Manager to help manage recruitment, benefits administration, and record maintenance for the other employees.
The role is to serve as a contact between the management and the rest of the organization.
They prepare files and forms for new employees, update employment status and help new employees get access to the resources they need to do their jobs.
HR Manager is to sort and update records, dispose of old records properly, and contact employees to update their contact information and other key documents.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s overall business goals.
Assessing reports provided by the management, team leaders, and operations managers to determine employee performance and training needs.
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract and maintain top talent.
Oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure market competitiveness and alignment with company goals.
Conducting performance reviews and creating evaluation standards in accordance with HR methodologies and labour laws.
Supervising all HR activities, communications, reports, requests, and documents created and received by the team.
Attending interdepartmental meetings with other managers.
Foster a positive work environment by driving employee engagement initiatives.
Track HR metrics (such as employee turnover, engagement scores, etc.) and provide regular reports to management.
Conduct regular audits of HR processes and systems to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in HR role
HR professional certifications such as CIPM or SHRM is desirable.
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree in HR is a plus)
Demonstrated success in handling a broad range of HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.
In-depth understanding of Nigerian labour laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices.
Proficient in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and other HR-related software.
The candidate must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
The candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
The candidate must be less than 30.
The candidate must be residing in Lagos, preferably Lekki-Ajah Axis.
