Role Description

Our client, a one-stop beauty and pharmacy chain, located in Lagos, is looking to hire a Human Resources Manager. This is a full-time on-site role for a Human Resources Manager. The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for managing the HR department, creating and implementing HR policies and procedures, conducting recruitment and onboarding processes, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.

Responsibility

• Consistently recruiting excellent staff.
• Maintaining a smooth onboarding process.
• Training, counseling, and coaching staff.
• Resolving conflicts through positive and professional mediation.
• Carrying out necessary administrative duties.
• Conducting performance and wage reviews.
• Developing clear policies and ensuring policy awareness.
• Creating clear and concise reports.
• Maintaining and reporting on workplace health and safety compliance.
• Handling workplace investigations, disciplinary, and termination procedures.
• Maintaining employee and workplace privacy.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of human resources principles, practices, and procedures
• Experience in HR management and team leadership
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
• Knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and regulations
• Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office suite
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• Professional certification in Human Resources such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or SPHR is a plus
