About the job

• The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives.
• They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with the school’s mission.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and retention processes.
• Oversee performance management systems, appraisals, and staff development.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws and relevant regulations.
• Handle employee relations, grievance resolution, and disciplinary processes.
• Develop staff training and capacity-building programs.
• Maintain accurate HR records, contracts, and payroll coordination.
• Provide HR advisory support to the Senior Leadership Team and the Board.s

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in Human Resources management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or HR certifications is an added advantage).
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor law and HR best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Integrity, discretion, and a passion for developing people.
