Human Resources Manager at Cool FM

Job Description:

• We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic HR Manager to join our team. As an HR Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our human resources functions and contributing to the development and implementation of HR strategies.
• This is a challenging role that requires exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures to support the company's goals and objectives.
• Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training and development, and offboarding.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian employment laws and regulations and keep abreast of any changes that may impact HR policies and practices.
• Advise and support managers and employees on HR-related matters, including employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance issues
• Lead and manage the HR team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
• Implement and maintain HR systems and tools to streamline HR processes, such as an applicant tracking system, performance management software, and an employee self-service portal.
• Monitor and analyze HR metrics to identify trends, address areas of concern, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive employee engagement initiatives, promote a positive company culture, and enhance employee satisfaction.
• Develop and deliver training programs on various HR topics to ensure employees and managers are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills.
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in HR management and apply this knowledge to enhance our HR practices.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar HR leadership role.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant Nigerian certifications such as CIPM (Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria) or HRCI (Human Resource Certification Institute) certifications are highly desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of Nigerian HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
• Strong understanding of talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, and employee relations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a high-performing HR team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Proven experience in managing complex HR projects and driving change initiatives.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Proficient in using HR systems and tools to streamline processes and generate insights.
