    Human Resource Officer

    Job Summary:

    • We are seeking a skilled and proactive HR Officer to join our Client's team in Lagos, Nigeria.
    • The HR Officer will support various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration.
    • The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of HR experience and should have started the certification process with the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM).

    Key Responsibilities:

    Recruitment and Onboarding:

    • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
    • Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation sessions and necessary paperwork.
    • Ensure compliance with all recruitment and onboarding procedures and policies.

    Employee Relations:

    • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide support on HR-related matters.
    • Assist in resolving employee issues and conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
    • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure confidentiality of HR information.

    Performance Management:

    • Support the performance appraisal process by tracking performance reviews and providing administrative assistance as needed.
    • Assist in identifying training and development needs and coordinating relevant training programs.
    • Monitor employee performance and provide feedback to management as appropriate.

    HR Administration:

    • Manage HR documentation, including contracts, agreements, and employee files.
    • Prepare HR reports and analytics for management review.
    • Handle day-to-day HR administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and managing correspondence.

    Compliance and Policy Adherence:

    • Stay updated on labor laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
    • Conduct periodic audits to ensure adherence to HR policies and identify areas for improvement.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 2 years of HR experience in a similar role.
    • Started certification process with the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) or equivalent.
    • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and procedures.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
