Human Resource Manager at Vested Africa

We are looking to hire a HR Manager located within Nigeria , to join our exciting and dynamic remote team at Vested Africa. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices. 

Responsibilities

• Recruit and Onboard new hires Conduct performance management and provide feedback Manage Payroll and benefits for employees
• Design, propose and implement human resources strategies, guidelines and procedures within broad principles and policies to meet requirements supporting short and long-term business needs
• Secure professional legal support from external legal counsel as required
• Assist in articulation of the values and culture of the organisation
• Work with CEO, COO and CTO to identify human resources problems/issues and provides leadership and support in finding solutions
• Parse specialized skills and qualifications to screen IT resumes • Perform pre-screening calls to analyze applicants’ abilities
• Interview candidates combining various methods (e.g. structured interviews, technical assessments and behavioral questions)
• Create and manage a formal performance review process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
• 3+ years' experience in Human Resources
• Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
• Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees
• Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
• Attention to detail and good judgement
