    Human Resource Manager

    We are looking to hire a HR Manager located within Nigeria , to join our exciting and dynamic remote team at Vested Africa. We’re building a movement and driving change for the Talented individuals building the future of Africa. At our core, we believe in helping the talent of Africa's fastest growing company's reap the fruit of their labour. Vested Africa provides stock liquidity options, wealth and financial planning advice, for the talent building Africa's fastest growing companies. Not only do we help employees gain the liquidity to access their valuable stock options, but we also provide brokerage services, tax advice and access to wealth management products. Our goal is to help start-up employees and shareholders understand, maximize, and unlock the value of their equity.

    If you are a hands-on, strategic professional individual, that is capable of achieving business goals through using change management and organizational design - then this is the perfect opportunity for you!The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices. 


    • Recruit and Onboard new hires Conduct performance management and provide feedback Manage Payroll and benefits for employees
    • Design, propose and implement human resources strategies, guidelines and procedures within broad principles and policies to meet requirements supporting short and long-term business needs
    • Secure professional legal support from external legal counsel as required
    • Assist in articulation of the values and culture of the organisation
    • Work with CEO, COO and CTO to identify human resources problems/issues and provides leadership and support in finding solutions
    • Parse specialized skills and qualifications to screen IT resumes • Perform pre-screening calls to analyze applicants’ abilities
    • Interview candidates combining various methods (e.g. structured interviews, technical assessments and behavioral questions)
    • Create and manage a formal performance review process


    • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
    • 3+ years' experience in Human Resources
    • Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
    • Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees
    • Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
    • Attention to detail and good judgement
