    HR Officer

    Job Description

    • A Personable and highly motivated HR intern to support the HR manager in day-to-day administrative tasks and activities.
    • If you are ready to kick start your career in Human Resources and build real-world experience with recruitment, payroll, employee development, and the coordination of HR policies and procedures, this is exciting for you.
    • Develop and implement HR strategies, initiatives and policies aligned with the Organization as corporate objectives
    • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
    • Assist the recruitment and selection process.
    • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.
    • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization.
    • Nurture a positive working environment.
    • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
    • Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
    • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.

    Requirements

    • A degree holder preferably in social sciences or any related field.
    • Proven work experience as HR officer (2-3 years’ experience)
    • Experience in HR Strategy development and implementation.
    • Experience working with Human Resource Information Systems.
    • Working knowledge of the Nigerian Labour and Employment Laws.
    • Capable of hands on problem-solving, with ability to generate ideas and solutions
    • Ability to use own initiative and pay close attention to detail
    • Ability to cope with competing demands and to prioritize tasks
    • Strong communication skills in all forms including written, oral, email, telephone, and presentation
    • A positive attitude to dealing with people
    • Capable of working independently, and having responsibility as an individual.
