    HR Officer

    Overview

    • As an HR Officer, you play a pivotal role in managing various HR functions within the organization. You are responsible for implementing HR policies, procedures, and programs to support the company's overall mission and objectives.
    • Your role involves recruiting and onboarding employees, managing employee relations, maintaining HR records, and ensuring legal compliance with employment laws and regulations.

    Job Description
    Recruitment and Onboarding:

    • Provide comprehensive support in recruitment efforts by posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and selecting candidates.
    • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation, training, and ensuring necessary paperwork completion.

    Employee Relations:

    • Address employee concerns and grievances in a timely and confidential manner, fostering a positive work environment.
    • Assist in developing and implementing employee engagement initiatives to promote a healthy workplace culture.

    HR Policies and Compliance:

    • Assist in developing, updating, and implementing HR policies, procedures, and guidelines in line with legal requirements and company standards.
    • Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and internal policies across all HR activities.

    Performance Management:

    • Support performance management processes such as goal setting, performance evaluations, and performance improvement plans.
    • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on performance-related matters.

    HR Administration:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, attendance records, and HR databases.
    • Process payroll and benefits administration tasks accurately and in a timely manner.

    Job Specification

    • Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
    • 3 years+ proven experience in anHR role
    • Experience in Hospitality is a MUST
    • Lives on the Lagos Island or close
    • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment and labour laws, and regulations.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
    • Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and Google workspace
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality, prioritize tasks, and work independently or as part of a team
