Job Description:

Mechanic on the Go is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mechanic Trainee to join our dynamic team. Our workshop specializes in the repair and maintenance of Japanese and American cars. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn the trade, punctual, and able to follow instructions precisely.

Responsibilities:

• Assist experienced mechanics with various tasks related to the repair and maintenance of Japanese and American cars.
• Learn and apply diagnostic and repair techniques under the guidance of senior mechanics.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
• Follow safety protocols and workshop procedures at all times.
• Take direction without argument and demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
• Perform basic mechanical tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.

Requirements:

• A genuine interest in automotive mechanics and a desire to build a career in this field.
• Punctuality and reliability, with a commitment to being on time for work from Monday to Saturday.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work collaboratively with a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards learning.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience or training in automotive mechanics is an advantage but not required.
• Basic understanding of automotive systems and components is beneficial.
