    HR Intern

    Job Summary

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR/Admin Intern to support our Human Resources and Administrative functions. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining departmental records, processing staff welfare benefits, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include organizing and filing documents, tracking staff attendance, supporting recruitment and onboarding processes, facilitating staff registrations for benefits such as pensions and health insurance, and assisting in workplace safety initiatives. Additionally, the intern will help prepare reports, maintain training records, and contribute to departmental meetings. This role provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HR administration while contributing to an efficient and well-structured workplace.

    Job Details

    • Assist with filling of all in-coming departmental documents/letters into different files/registers including staff personal files, mail dispatch.
    • Assist with the preparation of monthly staff attendance records for Lagos operations, adjusting staff absences and assist in the implementation of staff welfare benefits – casual, sick, annual, maternity leave, health facility, loan applications.
    • Assist in the preparation of required data for Group Life Insurance scheme, Employee compensation (NSITF), Industrial Training Funds and computation of over time for eligible staff.
    • Assist with the registration of new staff with various pension fund administrators, Salary account opening.
    • Assist in the recruitment, induction and placement of new staff and active participation in weekly departmental meeting and provision of some data for the generation of monthly reports.
    • Assist promote workplace safety, ensure policies, processes adherence and maintenance of standards and status reporting.
    • Assist in preparing documents and maintenance of register for all training.
    • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the HR manager or supervisor.

    Educational Qualification:

    Minimum Second-Class Upper Division (2:1) in related field from a reputable university not earlier than 2022.
