    HR & Admin Officer

    Job Summary:

    • The HR & Admin Officer will maintain personnel records, update databases, create guidelines and FAQ documents about company policies, gather payroll data, publish job ads, schedule interviews, and prepare HR-related reports. S/he will also develop training materials and respond to employee inquiries about benefits.
    • Overall, this role seeks to ensure that the HR department is provided with all the needed support to ensure its operations run smoothly

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage recruitment, onboarding, and exit procedures.
    • Coordinate all HR/Administration activities within all project sites in Bayelsa.
    • Maintain and update employee records and database on HRIS.
    • Prepare reports and presentations on HR-related metrics as the total number of hires by location, department, grade, etc.
    • Manage Outsourced staff and coordinate attendance and pay rolling.
    • Manage employee Travel Requests including hotel bookings, transportation, and welfare.
    • Employee Relations and leave management.
    • Staff Welfare- Management Support, Medicals
    • Supervise the work of employees in supporting roles in admin such as cleaning, dispatch, and office assistant.
    • Attendance and Biometrics management.
    • Relate with host communities, state revenue agencies, and other Government-registered bodies.
    • Guest House management and General Office Administration.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Key Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Human Resource and Administration or equivalent certificate
    • CIPM Certified is an added advantage
    • 4+ years of cognate working experience as an HR/Admin officer
    • Must be computer literate with sufficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
    • Knowledge of Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
    • Basic knowledge of labor laws
    • Excellent time management and Organization skills
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
