    House Manager

    Location – Lekki, Lagos

    Summary

    To coordinate all operations and activities in the Corporate building, including acting as community liaison between the tenants and management and prospecting of new tenants to occupy the available spaces.

    Marketing of company’s professional services to existing and prospective tenants within the company’s operation premises.

    Duties:

    • Source and meet with prospective renters
    • Recording and updating details of prospective and existing tenants into database swiftly
    • Maintaining and storing documentation effectively
    • Examining properties and informing maintenance staff of issues
    • Advertising available properties and conducting property tours as part of marketing activities
    • Screening prospective tenants to ensure they meet eligibility requirements
    • Completing lease applications and assisting with verification of application information
    • Inspecting properties before tenants take occupation and vacate
    • Liaising with tenants to provide information and address their complaints and concerns
    • Prepare and execute leases in accordance with company’s property standards and regulations
    • Ensure receipt of application fees, security deposits and rent payments in respect of the space to be leased
    • Inform residents of any changes to the rental agreement or upcoming problems with the property
    • Establish rapport with tenants and provide personalized service
    • Monitor use of community facilities, including laundry, mail, fitness centers etc.
    • Developing and sustaining solid relationships with company management and tenants
    • Analyzing tenants feedback data to determine whether tenants are satisfied with company’s facilities and services.
    • Providing insight into company’s service development in respect of the facilities provided and competitive positioning.
    • Analyzing financial data and developing effective strategies to reduce business costs and increase company profits.
    • Conducting market research to identify new business opportunities.
    • Collaborating with company executives to determine the most viable, cost-effective approach to pursue new business opportunities.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate or a Social Science discipline
    • Experience working as a Business Development Officer, Customer Service Officer or in a similar role
    • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and leadership skills
    • Exceptional negotiation and decision-making skills
    • Effective communication and presentation
    • Strong business acumen
    • Detail-oriented
