Job Summary

• We are currently seeking a friendly and customer-focused individual to join our team as a porter who will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests, assisting with luggage and transportation, and maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of hotel public areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with luggage and transportation needs
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of hotel public areas, including lobby, hallways, and restrooms
• Assist with room set-up and tear-down for events and meetings
• Deliver packages and other items to guest rooms as needed
• Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Monitor and report any maintenance or safety issues to management
• Assist with valet parking and vehicle maintenance as needed
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment needed for porter duties
• Provide exceptional customer service to all guests

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and carry heavy luggage and equipment
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Working Conditions

• The hotel porter will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interaction with guests and staff.
• They may be required to stand or walk for extended periods of time and lift heavy objects.
• The position may require working outdoors in various weather conditions.
