Job Summary:

• Our client a luxurious hotel in Aba, Abia State Nigeria, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hotel Manager to oversee the daily operations of the hotel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of all departments within the hotel, maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction, and driving profitability.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and security.
• Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability, including setting room rates, managing budgets, and controlling expenses.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate a staff team to deliver exceptional service and uphold the hotel's standards of excellence.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor guest satisfaction levels and respond promptly to any issues or complaints to ensure that everyone has a positive experience.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and local authorities.
• Implement effective marketing and sales strategies to attract guests and increase occupancy rates.
• Conduct regular inspections ensuring cleanliness, safety, and maintenance standards are met.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices to improve hotel operations and guest experiences continuously.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years Proven experience as a Hotel Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with hotel management software and systems.
• Knowledge of local market trends and competition.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
