    HORECA Sales Manager

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking an experienced and results-driven HORECA Sales Manager to lead and expand our presence in the HORECA segment across Nigeria. 
    • The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in top-tier FMCG companies in Nigeria, with strong commercial acumen, customer relationship management, and field sales execution capabilities.

    Key Responsibilities

    • HORECA Channel Development: Develop and execute the sales strategy for the HORECA segment, focusing on growth, profitability, and market share expansion.
    • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers in top hotels, restaurants, cafes, and catering services.
    • Business Development: Identify and onboard new HORECA customers while growing the business with existing accounts.
    • Sales Performance & Target Achievement: Drive sales performance and ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
    • Negotiation & Contract Management: Lead commercial negotiations and manage trade terms, credit limits, and pricing agreements with customers.
    • Field Execution & Visibility: Ensure proper execution of merchandising, product visibility, and promotional activities within the HORECA channel.
    • Cross-functional Collaboration: Liaise with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
    • Team Leadership (if applicable): Manage and mentor a team of HORECA sales representatives, ensuring performance tracking and capability development.
    • Market Intelligence: Monitor competitors, market trends, and customer feedback to provide strategic input and maintain competitive advantage.

    Requirements

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is an added advantage.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 5–8 years' experience in sales within the FMCG industry.
    • At least 3 years managing HORECA channels with a proven success record in top-tier FMCG companies.

    Skills:

    • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
    • Excellent knowledge of HORECA sales dynamics in Nigeria.
    • Proficiency in sales analytics, reporting, and CRM tools.
    • Ability to work independently and make data-driven decisions.
