Home Economics Teacher

Key Responsibilities
- Teach Home Economics following the national curriculum (WAEC/NECO)
- Plan and deliver practical lessons in cooking, sewing, and household management
- Maintain safety and hygiene standards during practicals
- Guide students on healthy living, budgeting, and personal development
- Organize exhibitions, practical exams, and home skills competitions
- Monitor student participation and performance; offer individualized support
- Foster creativity, responsibility, and life-readiness in learners
Requirements & Skills
- B.Sc./B.Ed. in Home Economics or Vocational Education
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role
- Skilled in nutrition, food science, clothing, and household management
- Ability to conduct hands-on sessions with clarity and confidence
- Excellent classroom control and lesson planning skills.
