    Physics & Technical Drawing Teacher

    Position Overview

    We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Physics Teacher to ignite students' interest in the fundamental principles of the physical world. The ideal candidate will translate complex concepts—such as mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, and modern physics—into accessible, engaging lessons and hands-on laboratory experiences.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Plan and deliver concept-driven physics lessons, demonstrations, and practical lab activities.
    • Facilitate hands-on experiments to illustrate physical laws, encouraging inquiry, data analysis, and critical problem-solving.
    • Teach math-integrated physics concepts, ensuring students can effectively apply algebraic, trigonometric, or calculus-based tools to physics problems.
    • Assess and track student progress through examinations, quantitative assignments, lab reports, and science projects.
    • Maintain physics laboratory equipment (sensors, circuits, optics, etc.) and uphold strict safety protocols during all experimental work.
    • Provide individual support to students needing extra assistance or seeking advanced challenge.
    • Collaborate with the science department and regularly communicate student progress to parents and administration.

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Physical Science, Engineering, or Secondary Physics Education (Master’s degree preferred).
    • Licensure: Valid teaching certification or state/national credential specializing in high school/secondary physics or physical science.
    • Experience: 2+ years of experience teaching physics at the secondary school level preferred.
    • Technical Skills: Strong command of mathematical concepts, familiarity with physics laboratory apparatus, data logging tools, and instructional simulation software.
    • Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, exceptional communication skills, effective classroom management, and a knack for explaining complex concepts simply.
