He/ She shall be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential financial, operational, legal, and reputational risks within the organization.
RESPONSBILITIES
Ensuring the creation of quality risk assets in line with the Company’s broad risk appetite.
Proper monitoring of all risk assets.
Ensuring safe custody of all collateral documents.
Drive recovery of non-performing risk assets.
Reporting periodically all enterprise risk issues.
Developing a credit and facility risk rating model for the institution
Quarterly portfolio review analysis
Implementing a framework that covers business continuity and disaster recovery, planning
Quarterly risk reports to the Board Credit Committee (BCC)
Quarterly risk report to the Board Audit/Risk Committee
Monthly preparation of the bank Risk Report (Statutory)
Risk Management Committee meetings
SKILLS
Must have a demonstrated sound knowledge of Risk Assessment and Risk Management.
Must have demonstrated sound knowledge in Credits.
Must have ability to analyze complex data, identify patterns, and assess potential risks.
Good communication skills – both written and verbal
Excellent Organizational Skills and Report writing skills
High level of Integrity, Tenacity and Commitment
Problem solving, negotiation and lateral thinking skills
Good Relationship and time management
Ability to work independently
QUALIFICATION
Must have a first degree (Bsc/HND) in Accounting or any related discipline with ACA or ACCA
Possession of CIBN certification will be an added advantage.
EXPERIENCE
Must have minimum of 8 years post NYSC work experience with 2 years in senior management level in the Risk Management department in a Fintech Company.
