Our Client seeks a competent and driven professional to lead our Transportation and Logistics operations.
The ideal candidate will oversee and optimize logistics and transportation activities.
Responsibilities include: Designing and executing effective logistics strategies, Managing transportation networks for efficiency and cost-effectiveness, Ensuring prompt and reliable delivery of goods.
Key Responsibilities
Create and execute logistics plans to enhance efficiency and cut costs.
Oversee transportation networks, including choosing carriers, planning routes, and scheduling.
Ensure prompt delivery of goods while meeting customer expectations.
Supervise and guide a team of logistics professionals.
Work closely with sales, operations, and customer service teams for seamless coordination.
Evaluate data and performance metrics to improve logistics processes.
Ensure adherence to regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
5-7 years' experience in logistics and transportation management roles.
Proven knowledge of logistics operations, transportation systems, and supply chain processes.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
