    Head of Sales

    About the role:

    • The Head of Sales will be responsible for developing and implementing the company's sales strategy, building and managing a high-performing sales team, and achieving revenue targets.
    • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a deep understanding of B2B software sales.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement a sales strategy to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets
    • Build and manage a high-performing sales team, including hiring, training, and performance management
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners
    • Manage the sales process from lead generation to deal closing, ensuring effective pipeline management and accurate forecasting
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and drive customer success
    • Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimise sales processes
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitive landscape to inform sales strategy and positioning

    Requirements for the role

    • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field
    • 8+ years of experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in B2B software sales
    • Strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
    • Deep understanding of B2B software sales processes and methodologies
    • Experience building and managing a successful sales team
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
    • Proven ability to analyse sales performance metrics and make data-driven decisions
    • Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics
    • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
