The Head of Product Management is a full-time, hybrid role based in Lagos, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements.
This role leads the end-to-end product strategy and lifecycle management across Union Bank’s portfolio, ensuring products are customer-centric, commercially viable, and aligned with the bank’s digital and business objectives.
Day-to-day responsibilities include defining product vision, prioritizing product roadmaps, overseeing product development and enhancements, and coordinating cross-functional teams such as technology, operations, marketing, and sales.
The Head of Product Management will analyze market trends, customer insights, and performance data to optimize existing products and identify new opportunities.
The role also involves mentoring product managers, establishing best practices, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and risk management standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field; a relevant Master’s Degree or MBA is an advantage.
Experience in banking, financial services, or fintech, with knowledge of digital channels and regulatory requirements.
Demonstrated expertise in Product Strategy and Product Management, with a track record of leading successful product portfolios.
Strong experience in Product Lifecycle Management, including ideation, development, launch, and continuous improvement.
Advanced Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret data, market research, and customer insights to inform decisions.
Background collaborating with Sales teams to drive product adoption, revenue growth, and customer engagement.
