Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head of Kitchen / Chef to oversee all kitchen operations.
• The ideal candidate must be able to cook excellently, strictly follow recipes, train kitchen staff to use approved recipes, and ensure meals are prepared and served on time while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality local and/or continental dishes according to approved recipes
• Ensure strict adherence to recipes, portion control, and presentation standards
• Train and supervise kitchen staff on cooking methods, recipes, and kitchen procedures
• Taste and check food to ensure quality, consistency, and freshness before service
• Ensure timely preparation and release of food to meet service demands
• Maintain a clean, neat, and well-organized kitchen at all times
• Enforce food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
• Plan kitchen duties and coordinate staff to ensure smooth operations
• Monitor stock levels and minimize waste.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a head chef, kitchen lead, or senior cook
• Strong cooking skills and ability to follow and standardize recipes
• Experience in training and supervising kitchen staff
• Good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety practices
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
• Leadership, discipline, and attention to detail.
