    Head of Growth

    Octosoft is leading health-tech company based in Lagos, Nigeria. Our mission is to radically  transform healthcare delivery in Africa. We are at an exciting point in our development and 
    looking to capitalise on the huge growth opportunities that the post-Pandemic healthcare landscape presents. We have been in stealth mode working on our solutions for Healthcare 
    Providers, Health Insurers, Payments and Telemedicine. We are now looking for a Head of  Growth to give the business an injection of pace.
    The Role:
    This role is about Growth and Sales. Not Marketing.

    • You will be responsible for our top line growth and maximising customer value focusing on where we rapidly scale consumer acquisition and drive retention.
    • Reporting directly to the Managing Director, and working with all teams across the business, you will be responsible for taking our five product lines to market and helping bring new initiatives to 
    • the table while iterating on existing ones, and forging close relationships across the management team.
    • Working with the Products, Engineering and Operations teams, you will devise and execute a range of strategies to discover what works and what doesn’t, applying creative approaches to develop 
    • new methods of acquiring and keeping users, deriving insight, communicating it to other senior leaders and iterating our approaches.
    • You will need to be able to call upon your prior experience to drive and refine our media, sales, user, and retention strategies as we go.
    • You will be data focused and determined in your resolve to track every interaction. You will build attribution models and be responsible for net revenue churn metrics.
    • Who are we looking for?
    • Did we mention this isn’t all about Marketing?
    • We are looking for an experienced revenue-driver with a proven track record in a Growth orientated 
    • role either at a start-up or medium-sized organisation.
    • You will be overly familiar with Pirate Metrics, Funnels, Loops and more. You will live and breathe 
    • data and attribution. You will also have an inherent instinct for conversion.
    • You will be able to demonstrate excellent team leadership skills, creating a positive team culture to develop, hire, and retain exceptional talent.

    Requirements

    • Graduate level qualification. MBA / EMBA is a added advantage.
    • Successful previous experience in a senior growth / sales role, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels and for all stakeholders
    • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
    • Proven ability to create hype around a new product once launched and to convert a sustainable pipeline of new business with low churn rates
    • Strong knowledge of the digital media landscape and user acquisition & retention  across several countries and the means to research and synthesise knowledge about  new markets quickly
    • Experience with B2B and B2C sales techniques.
    • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills

    Highly desirable:

    • An interest in healthcare and health-tech
    • Programmatic advertising experience
    • Balanced Scorecard / OKR framework experience
