Job Summary

• Drive business performance through the provision of sound financial services and direction for effective distribution of the organization's financial resources and investments towards sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive value within the business through margin enhancement, lower costs, operational efficiencies and risk minimization.
• Provide investment advice and secure investments from financial institutions/ bodies to grow the business portfolio.
• Execute accurate reporting and analysis that enables sound analysis and financial recommendations.
• Provide insights into business performance vs. competitor and industry trends for effective decision making.
• Manage relationships with bankers, auditors, and tax authorities
• Ensure compliance with national and local financial regulations.
• Implement financial strategies and plans to achieve the company’s long-term business objectives.
• Financial forecasting.
• Produce and analyze management financial reports related to budgets, income, expenditure, profit and losses.
• Review, monitor, and manage financial budgets.
• Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals / objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or other related field.
• Minimum of 7 years proven experience in a similar role
• A professional qualification such as ICAN, ACCA, CMA, CFA is required.
• Proven knowledge of corporate financing and strategy is a key requirement.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• In-depth knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations and energy industry legislation.
• In-depth knowledge of financial modelling is key.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and detail orientation.

Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 / month.
