Our Client

Our Client, a Manufacturing Company seeks to employ a head of finance to supervise all financial tasks and ensure we use capital and resources beneficially. Head of finance responsibilities include creating forecasting models, assessing risk in investments and ensuring all accounting activities comply with regulations.to be successful in this role, you should have experience crafting financial strategies and managing accounting teams.

KEY RESPOSIBLITIES

• Forecast monthly, quarterly and annual results
• Approve or reject budgets
• Conduct risk management
• Evaluate and decide on investments
• Allocate resources and manage cash flows
• Conduct profit and cost analyses
• Consult board members about funding options
• Recommend cost-reducing solutions
• Supervise a team of accountants
• Develop secure procedures to maintain confidential information
• Ensures all accounting activities and internal audits comply with financial regulations
• Maintain company’s financial health and increase profitability in the long run
• Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes
• Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing and other transactions
• Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making

Requirements

• Proven work experience as head of finance
• 8 years+ work experience.
• In-depth understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation and book keeping
• Hands-on experience with budgeting and risk management
• Leadership abilities
• Solid analytic and decision-making skills
• BSc/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field
• Professional certification is an added advantage
